Live Poker – Vierling Picks Up $34k in WSOPC High Roller
Jessica Vierling narrowly missed out on her second gold ring at the WSOP Circuit Las Vegas. The German was beaten by Darren Rabinowitz in the $2,200 High Roller after a long heads-up battle.
The WSOP Circuit Series is currently taking place at the Horseshoe Las Vegas. 18 events are on the schedule, starting at $400 there is the opportunity to secure one of the coveted WSOPC gold rings.
One of the highlights was the $2,200 High Roller. At the final table, $149,568 in prize money was played out. Also at the table was Jessica Vierling, who was playing for her second WSOPC title. The German made it through to the heads-up.
After almost three hours of heads-up play, however, Vierling was defeated and Darren Rabinowitz secured his fourth WSOPC ring. According to more official payouts, the poker pro collected $47,602, but since there was a deal, Jessica Vierling secured a little more than the reported $30,687.
