Live Poker | WSOP Paradise: The first 10 pairings of the Triton Million

Of course, the $26k Super Main Event ($50,000,000 GTD) is the mega highlight of the World Series of Poker Paradise (WSOPP) at Atlantis Casino Resort, but the $1,000,000 Triton Million Invitational is also causing a worldwide stir.

The format is already familiar from the Triton stops, but this time it’s being played in the Caribbean as part of the WSOPP. And with a buy-in of 2 x $500,000 (plus $50,000 fee). Business people invite poker pros, day 1 is played separately and from day 2 together. The lines between business and pros are often enough, but it takes a real business with a real income to be classified as an “amateur”.

Triton has announced the first ten pairings and they are already impressive:

The known pairings (Business – Pro)
Paul Phua – Phil Ivey
Rob Yong – Andrwe Robl
Ossi Ketola – Patrik Antonius
Philip Sternheimer – Ben Heath
Kannapong Thanarattraku – Punnat Punsri
Esti Wang – Adrian Mateos
Chad Deberry – Sean Winter
David Einhorn – Taylor von Kriegenbergh
Santhosh Suvarna – Nick Petrangelo
Elton Tsang – Justin Bonomo

So far there is no German-speaking participation in the Triton Million, but there are still some pairings to come. However, many DACH players are already taking part in the $25k Super Main Event – either already qualified for Day 3 (ITM) or as package winners. You can still play your way into the package for very little money, the (step) satellites run daily. You can find everything about the WSOPP at wsop.com, the satellites can be found in the GGPoker client under “Road to Paradise”.
